NHS ( UK ) GP Referral Codes for Veterans in The UK
There hasn't been much advice about NHS G.P Codes that identify Veterans. It seems that most GP Surgerys were not even aware of the Codes. Veterans need to be coded on the NHS system so they can apparently be identified, and then may benefit from the Armed Forces Covenant if they need a referral to a Specialist.
Please approach your GP Practice Manager at your GP surgery and ensure they are aware of the Codes and have you coded as necessary.
There are two types of codes and I have placed them below for you to copy & Print out for your GP.
